Denver: Kwik E Mart and a Diamond Ring

So, Denver started out with a bit of a whimper. It was 900 degrees. Then, off in the distance, we saw a mirage. Could it really be a Quik-E-Mart? It was.

Oh my god! How did Mike and Jenny get here? She looks very surprised to see us, doesn't she.

Amen to that.

I didn't even offer to help.

Jenny's new item of interest.

Mike and Mike, with smiles.

Colorado has mountains. They are large and somewhat ominous and scary. Big tunnel-- looking out.

Big tunnel-- looking in.

Boulder is kind of like Madison, only weird and high-up.

These gentlemen were professionals. When someone gave them a dollar, they said 'thank you' through the didgeridoos. I think that tells you everything you need to know about Boulder.

The Colorado River.
If No Name changed its name to What Cheer, I think more people would go there, don't you?
From Boulder, we drove to Glenwood Springs. This photo is a dramatic reinactment, because we actually got there after dark. What is there to do in Glenwood Springs, you ask? Why, take the waters, of course. The pool above smells like rotten eggs and makes your whole body feel better. The scene in the pool at 9pm was so bananas, I don't think the blog is ready for it. It's going to take some more time to synthesize the information.

We were happy with the experience. Colorado started out a little, ahem, rocky, but it grew on us.

Here, Mike's head blocks the sign telling you that you are leaving Colorado. So I'll just tell you. We left Colorado. Next stop, Utah!

love
